I love history and documenting time, places, people, and emotion. There is power in remembering events in daily life, from the seemingly everyday to the spontaneous and exciting. How we remember people, places and events drive our emotions. Photography, in my opinion, does this better than any other artistic medium. It's powerful.
Also, I've always been creative. It's just how I'm wired. I was the kid that made an Atlas V rocket from popsicle sticks, Elmer's glue, aluminum foil, and pipe cleaners. One Christmas, my Grandmother gave me aluminum foil as a gift. And I loved it.
I have a degree in Fine Art from Stetson University (FL). My images have been published in Southern Living, Alabama Construction News, and I've shot projects for Shoal Creek Properties, David Brush Landscape, and Thrive Hydration.
Recently, I was named an official photographer for MagicHour, a non-profit that pairs those in the fight against cancer with photographers for free photo shoots. This is a cause that is dear to me. I'm humbled.
Thanks for taking a moment to learn about me, and I hope to have the chance to get to know you.
