There is power in remembering events in daily life, from the seemingly everyday to the spontaneous and exciting. How we remember people, places and events drive our emotions. Photography, in my opinion, does this better than any other artistic medium. It's powerful.
I've always been creative. It's just how I'm wired.
One Christmas, my Grandmother gave me aluminum foil rolls as a gift...and I LOVED it. I was the kid that made rockets from popsicle sticks, Elmer's glue, aluminum foil, and pipe cleaners.
I received my degree in Fine Arts from Stetson University (FL). My images have been published in Southern Living, Alabama Construction News, Alabama Magazine and I've shot projects for Wells Fargo, Shoal Creek, David Brush Landscape, LaPaz restaurant, Honor Flight, Thrive Hydration and Wish of A Lifetime.
Recently, I was named an official photographer for MagicHour, a non-profit that pairs those in the fight against cancer with photographers for free photo shoots. This is a cause that is dear to me. I'm humbled.
Thanks for taking a moment to learn about me, and I hope to have the chance to get to know you and create memories.
